Why does the comment system insist on placing the '@' symbol in front of my comments?
I have two android devices, both running Android 2.2, both with the same Nexus One ROM. I have installed a very old version of J2ME PhoneGap that has the Android SDK on it.
One of the devices has Android 2.2, and I am using the J2ME PhoneGap plugin.
I am posting comments on this stackoverflow question, which is a question I have posted on SO.
The comment preview window insists that the @ symbol is required before my comment.
Why is this?
What to do about it?
PS: Here is the actual comment text. I haven't added anything else to it.
A:
Because this is our standard comment format. We can't change this (yet).
The "D'n'D" route shown in the map above is not an official route, but is the way that I will be traveling to Costa Rica to visit my wife's parents. During our 2 week trip we will be driving from the San José airport to Puerto Jiménez. We will be following this route as much as possible to get a feel for the "route".
These are the map and route details from Costa Rica:
The "Hwy 17" shown in the map above is not a highway. I will be taking Hwy 4 for most of this route.

The facts in a lawsuit involving a couple and a man named Elmer Pemberton are truly bizarre. The man asked to borrow Pemberton's Smith & Wesson 9-millimeter handgun and was refused. So he and his wife kidnapped Pemberton. And then when Pemberton asked for the gun back, the kidnappers shot and killed him. The man was arrested, but the charges were dismissed.
Now the woman is suing. But at the Supreme Court, the government claimed that there was no right to keep a gun in the home for self-defense. They argued that the Second Amendment applies to state militia, but not to private citizens.
So what the nine judges on the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals unanimously decided today. Yes, the court concluded that the Second Amendment protects the right to carry a gun in the home for self-defense. If you do not want to carry your gun in the home, you are not allowed to have it. But if you do want to
